How to Apply Glitter Roots

What You'll Need
- Chunky glitter plus a little fine glitter to fill gaps
- Hold Up! hair gel or aloe vera gel
- A tint brush, flat brush or clean toothbrush
How to Apply Glitter Roots: Step by Step
- Style your hair first. Glitter roots work best with a middle parting, slicked-back styles or braids.
- Apply gel along the roots. Brush gel along your parting or hairline, wherever you want the glitter to sit.
- Press in the glitter. Press chunky glitter onto the gel, then fill any gaps with finer glitter.
- Leave it to set. Don't touch your hair for 5 to 10 minutes. A light mist of hairspray adds extra hold.
- Ready to rave. Your festival hair is done.

Removing Hair Glitter
